Since the first Atlanta-area Egg Harbor Café opening in 2011 (Johns Creek), a new team of creative regional leaders has evolved to expand on the passion and experience of the core founding group.

Marissa Ross joined the Atlanta team as a host and server in February 2013, shortly after the opening of Sandy Springs, our second Georgia location. She was immediately captivated by the energy and environment of Egg Harbor. Having been previously dulled by hours spent on an office computer, Marissa loved meeting lots of new people, guests and teammates alike. Today Marissa is one of the early regional leaders writing Georgia’s Egg Harbor Café story, along with being a store manager at the newest location in Alpharetta.

Marissa sees her role as being an inspirer. She wants to inspire guests to feel part of the Egg Harbor family, and to inspire employees to achieve their unique potentials. Marissa believes that inspiration is woven into the heart of daily life at Egg Harbor Café. “We have a hand here in something bigger than just what we do. When we have ideas to contribute, we don’t hear ‘No.’ We hear ‘Try it out. Tell us how it goes.’” That kind of welcome only helps improve the customer experience. “Our quality and service are genuine, memorable and lasting,” she affirms.

Marissa and her new husband, Alpharetta police officer Jeffrey Ross, have three dogs. In her free time, Marissa loves crafting and DIY projects. You may even notice Marissa’s decorative touch in some of the Atlanta-area restaurant décor. Still, her favorite part of working at Egg Harbor is the day-to-day connecting with guests and staff. Watch for Marissa as she coaches the next wave of leaders in the Georgia Egg Harbor family.
